Bugboy

by Lucas Paleocrassas, 2026, Greece, Denmark, France, 87’

In «Bugboy», we follow the story of George, a shy teenager with misaligned eyes, who is struggling to connect with others following his parents’ traumatic divorce. He finds refuge in the world of insects and bonds with a cricket named Isabella, who inspires him to reimagine his place in the world. This story of transformation and self-discovery reminds us that even the smallest creatures can help us find our place in the world.
