Marios Lizides is a multi-award-winning interdisciplinary Cypriot filmmaker, cinematographer, editor, sound designer, and software developer. His films have been screened at numerous festivals, including the 22nd and 25th Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, as well as in two sections of the 73rd Edinburgh International Film Festival. He is a graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art, specializing in Creative Documentary/Hybrid Film. He has taught both practical and theoretical documentary filmmaking as a lecturer and served as the Artistic Director of the Cyprus Film Days International Festival (2022–2025), as well as a Board Member of the Directors Guild of Cyprus (2019–2023). He is also a member of the European Film Academy.
