An impressionistic ballad about the only inhabitant of a remote island in the northern Adriatic whose fate was marked by merciless nature of harsh climate and social system of local authorities. The traces of the last soul and the prints of its existence, the messages of the place where everything seems to be disappearing.

Aleš Suk, born 1977 in Vrchlabi, Czech Republic, studied animation and direction at FAMU, Prague. He led the course “Montage composition in animation and multimedia” at the department of montage at FAMU and taught animation and interactive design as an assistant at the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka, Croatia. Directed and produced documentary and experimental films. He is a member of Directors’ Guild of Filmmakers Association of Croatia and lives in Rijeka, Croatia.
