The Roundabout

The Roundabout offers an insight into an ordinary day in the lives of Bader and Yunes, moroccan immigrants. They live in the Los Nietos settlement, situated next to a roundabout between the Autovia del Mediterraneo motorway and the popular coastal resort of San José (Almería). It is one of the main rendezvous points for the African migrants who survive the dangerous journey in small boats. This is where the protagonists of our brief portrait live, close by one of the many roundabouts which transform the metaphor of the vicious circle into a human reality.
