Through the Window

They come to buy newspapers and cigarettes, to boast, complain, or simply talk. A mother with a teething baby, a woman worried about her sick cat, an old man devoted to Catholic radio… As many faces as there are in the kiosk window, so many small and big human stories—some funny, some bitter, all authentic and bound to leave no viewer indifferent.

Daniel Stopa is a director and producer. His short films have been presented and awarded at numerous international festivals, including DocuDays UA in Kyiv and BogoShorts in Bogotá. He is currently working on two other documentaries: Until the Wedding and The Fat One and The Warrior’s Path.
