How does someone who is born blind create images? Konstantinos perceives colours, shapes and faces beyond the sense of sight. He smells green, feels light and unfolds his own “vision” of the world around him.

Valia Chatzichristodoulou is a film student at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is currently working on her diploma thesis, focusing on production and costume design. She has previously worked as a production and costume designer on student films. She is deeply interested in documentary and experimental cinema and aims to combine the two genres to reveal the poetic nature of everyday life. Dreams and nightmarish dreamscapes are themes that fascinate her and are also closely connected to her diploma project. She has participated in the Chania Film Festival (CFF) and the Skopelos International Film Festival for Youth (SIFFY). “With Torn Curtains” is her first short documentary film.
