Set against the backdrop of the war in Baghdad in the early 1990s, this animated film tells the story of Siham and Rakan, a young couple who must fight killer robots in order to escape the city and protect the future of their newborn baby. This animated film takes viewers into a new, futuristic universe at the heart of the Middle East.
Director: Tabarak Allah Abbas
Tabarak Allah Abbas was born in the Swiss canton of Valais to parents from Iraq. She spent her childhood in Geneva with her two sisters and her parents. From a very young age, painting was her pursuit, through which came the discovery of her great passion for cinema. Her passion for animation, which began in childhood, led her to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to creating her own films, bringing her most imaginative and daring ideas to life.
