Nikita Popkov has graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and studied at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. His first short documentary film was made as part of training at the Migachev and Simonov film laboratory. Won in the category “Best Short Film” on the international film festival Doker, while serving in the army.
