In June of 1944, the Germans forced the Jewish popu-lation of Crete alongside with a group of guerilla troops to
embark the ship “Tanais” and locked them in the hold. The destination is known, a concentration camp somewhere… The ship was hit by British torpedoes, because it was suspected of transporting German army supplies. The ship sunk, dragging in their wet grave people and their stories.
