On August 27th, the second day of the International Documentary Festival Beyond Borders, three screenings took place, marking the beginning of the competition part of the festival: “A Tree Remembers”, by Kostas Follas, “Hermana”, by Enver Arcak, and “The Great Fire of Salonica: Birth of a City” by Grigoris Vardarinos. In between the screenings, a string trio comprised of Irini Kattavenaki, Paraskevi Stati and Ioanna Kazatzidi performed music by prominent greek composers.
