On Wednesday, August 29th, the interantional panel “From news reporting to historical research” took place. President of the panel was Michel Noll (Director of International Development of Beyond Borders) conversing with the journalists Razia Iqbal (BBC), Markus Nikel (RAI), Panagiotis Tsolias (ERT) and professors Jo Fox (Institute of Historical Research, Univerisity of London) and Irini Sarioglou (Istanbul Uniiversity). After the conversation the members of the panel were honored as “ambassadors” of “Beyond Borders” Documentery Festival. On the forth day of the festival four screenings took place: “Living with Walls” by Sherif Fathy Salem, “Kalimera from Beiirut by George Eid, “Flowers Fade Early Kakopetros” by Matthaios Frantzeskakis and Vicky Arvelaki and “Prohibited Visit” by Nikos Theodosiou.
