These songs were much loved, grown, moved and entertained by generations of Greeks and are still sung today, without having lost in the slightest their dynamics and essence. Sofia Papazoglou brings them to the present era, in a program specially designed for the needs of the Festival, with her own metal and with a great orchestra giving the necessary authenticity but sung and played with a new "soul".

A group of musicians travel to Syros to participate in a tribute in honor of Markos Vamvakaris. Along with this journey, composers, musicologists and artists from all over the world highlight the important legacy of the musician in the 21st century and the - alive to this day - Marcos influence in the contemporary music landscape of Europe.
