Masterclass: Strengthening Greek Documentary through Collective Action

As part of the 10th Beyond Borders, Angelos Kovotsos presented a masterclass on the Hellenic Documentary Association (HDA), offering an in-depth look at the organization’s collective efforts to support, promote, and advance creative documentary filmmaking in Greece and abroad. Participants learned about the HDA’s educational initiatives, film screenings, participation in international festivals, and its collaborative networks, while discussing the significance of documentary as a tool for reflection, social dialogue, and cultural awareness.

The masterclass was conducted in English, with the support of the EKKOMED – Creative Greece.
