Free dental care to the residents of Kastellorizo by Beyond Borders
Care for the dental care of the local community of the island by
Kastellorizo International Documentary Festival
In a remarkable partnership of culture and social service, Beyond Borders | Kastellorizo International Documentary Festival continues to support and contribute to the local welfare of the island in every possible way. In the context of its 9th edition, it will offer necessary and free dental care to the residents (adults and children) of Kastellorizo. This initiative highlights the festival’s commitment to enhancing its social profile and sensitivity to the needs of the local community.
As part of the festival’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, a team of experienced dentists, consisting of Katia Zachariou and Yiannis Manikaros, will be on the island offering free dental check-ups, advice and oral hygiene education to residents. This initiative aims to meet the health needs in remote areas, ensuring that the residents of Kastellorizo receive basic dental services.
The initiative will take place from Friday 23/08 up to Sunday 25/08 2024.
