The use of this Portal is subject to the terms set out below. The use of the Portal implies that the visitor/user has studied, understood and accepted all terms of use of the Portal. In case the visitor/user does not agree with the terms of use of the present, they must not use the services and the content of the Portal. These terms of use may be reviewed and updated at any time and without notice. You are kindly requested to check the terms of use of the Portal at regular intervals, as its continuous use implies that you accept these changes.

The Portal beyondborders.gr is a Promotion and Information Website for the organization and operation of the Festival and the entire material (articles, photographs, video, films, sounds, graphics, as well as logos, trademarks, names, etc.) included in it shall constitute copyright of Beyond Borders promoting culture and cooperation and informing users about the actions and purpose of the Festival as well as other relevant news and announcements.

All content of this Portal, except of those whose owners are third parties (intellectual rights of third parties), including – indicatively – texts, graphics, images, photographs, drawings, videos, sounds, logos, trademarks, names, etc., is copyright of Beyond Borders and it is protected by the applicable national, Community and international law. Beyond Borders reserves all intellectual rights related to the content and the copies that are created on its basis.

The content of the Portal is available to its visitors/users for personal use. The content is subject to change without notice at the discretion of Beyond Borders. Once the terms of use are accepted, non-commercial use and reproduction is permitted, in whole or in part, provided that the reproduced product is then freely available through the Internet or other appropriate means and it is accompanied by a clear and distinct reference to its source of origin. Any other use shall require the express written permission of the owner or the copyright owner.

Beyond Borders collects personal data of the Portal’s visitors/users only if they voluntarily provide them for the purpose of their registration on the Portal and their access to the available electronic services. It may be incomplete, especially with regard to current affairs.

Under no circumstances, including the case of negligence, is Beyond Borders liable for any kind of damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, services, options and contents of the Portal made on their own initiative and being aware of the terms hereof. Moreover, it does not warrant that the Portal or any other related website or servers through which the content is made available to the visitors/users are provided without “viruses” or other harmful components.

This Portal includes links to other websites under the responsibility of third parties (natural or legal persons). Under no circumstances is Beyond Borders liable for the terms of protection of personal data, that these sites follow. Although we try to use every possible means to protect the user’s personal data, we cannot warrant that this is always possible.

Applicable law and other terms 

The above terms and conditions of use of the Portal as well as any amendment or change of them, are subject to the Greek and Community law as well as the relevant international treaties. Any provision of the above terms that may be opposite to the above legal framework or becomes invalid, ceases automatically to be valid and is extracted from the present, without in any case affecting the validity of the rest of the terms. The present constitutes an entire agreement between the manager of the Portal and the visitor/user of its websites and its services and binds only them. No amendment of these terms should be taken into account and constitute part of the agreement, unless it has been expressed in writing and incorporated herein.
